Yes. Connect a supported AI assistant through the official Kommodo MCP connector with secure sign-in, use our free open-source Claude Code skill with an API token, or connect your own scripts to the same API. For example, ask your assistant to read a transcript, update a recording’s title and tags, or publish it as a Page. Claude and ChatGPT are supported today. API access requires a Stripe-backed Premium or Enterprise subscription; AppSumo-only licenses do not include it. AI assistants are separate products. Explore the MCP connector.

Free includes view counts. Premium includes viewer analytics: identified viewers and watch duration. A viewer must be signed in for their identity to be shown.

We launched Kommodo on AppSumo for a limited time as an introductory offer. We have since expanded Kommodo to include more than just a screen-recording app. Also, giving you a responsive support team is a huge priority for us. Those are just some of the reasons we had to switch to a more typical subscription model. However, we continue to offer core functionality on our Free plan to give everyone access to the product.
